What is the worst car you have ever owned?

after a near disaster with a Fiat bravo gearbox failure (3 months old) i ended up with an 02 Fiat Stilo 1200 five door in replacement. Lovely styling, lots of gizmos, concertina skyroof etc. then followed 2 engine management systems, 10 replacement tyres, one clumsy looking retro fit after a recall to stop the front spring bursting through the tyre, 2 replacement doorlocks, and 2 replacement airbag sensors (14 months apart). I now know why they say FIAT -Fix It Again Tony ! The whole thing was made infinitely worse by the customer service from a very big main dealer not too far away from phoenix park, who seem happy to sell cars but not too happy if they have to incur a cost themselves to fix it.....theres more to that story which i will share in the future.

The worst car I think I owned was a old austin allegro, I had to replace wings and hydrogas units and front ball joints would only last a few months before they would let go and also replaced to the drive shafts only kept car around 8 months as it was costing alot of money to keep on the road

A Vauxhall Viva...it broke down every other day!

I had a Vauxhall Viva too, it wasn't the worst car I've owned but not far off it. I think the worst was a Renault 5, very bad handling which resulted in me writing it off.

I don`t think i`ve ever bought a bad car. Mini, Escort (3) Citreon BX , Fiat Tipo, Honda civic coupe , Mazda Premacy, MX5 , Subaru Forester, Beetle(old)....oh, Daewoo Matiz and the Corsa....they`ve all met my needs and have been reliable...maybe i`m just lucky?

My current Honda Civic (57) reg is rapidly becoming my worst ever car! Terrible build quality, rattles, replacement struts, bump stops, creaking clutch..... It will be my last ever Honda, that for sure. But i still love the thing to drive and look at!

 the first car i owned was a hillman imp sport bought it in glasgow limped home to campbeltown needed new engine so it was scrapped then a ford escort which got me through my driving test head gasket problem oh the joys next an alfa romeo alfasud which melted with rust with the sea air of campbeltown loch so it was honda time 1st crx 2nd civic 3rd integra type r4th hrv 5th accord 6th accord now on my 7th honda a civic type s no major problem with any of them plus loads of memories with everyone of them try to match the cars to these life events marriage 1st child 2nd child my oldest is now eleven hence the type s what next i wonder nsx!!!!! ? where did i put that lottery ticket!!!!!
