My GF has just passed her test and one thing we were talking about was an advanced driving course to get her confidence up. I know several places offer this service but I've heard good things about the one that Knockhill offers for about £219. I'll probably get her signed up to this after my wallet has recovered from paying her annual insurance premium :(

Studying for your theory test.

There are loads of books and PC Software to choose from when you start studying for your theory test.

All the study material on offer varies from £2.00 to £20.00.

While study for my theory I used The Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers this book gives all the official questions you will be asked in your test. I found this book the helpful not only because it helped me prepare for the questions I would be asked in my test. It also contains the Highway Code at the back for you to refer to as well. The book is priced around £10.00 and can be bought in most book stockist.

To help me study my hazard perception I bought Driving Test Success ALL Tests 2009 apparently the best selling driving test software. This DVD not only gives you examples of hazard perception tests but also Theory questions and Information about your practical test. The CD-ROM gives you a better idea what to expect on the test and helps you track your progress. I found this the best way to study. I bought this CD-ROM from my local super market for under £5.00. There is also The Official DSA Complete Theory Test Kit CD-ROM and is priced around £18.00.

Other materials available are Driving Theory Training for the Nintendo DS and The AA Theory Test Books.

.This group will give helpful information to novice driver getting ready for the road. I myself have recently passed my test one mounth ago and know how nerve racking your driving test can be. Since i have passed my test i have not been out driving myself yet. i have just finished my Pass Plus and i am currently looking for a car to help me get from A-B.
