I feel I should be chosen for the NADA convention trip for a number of reasons, firstly I am probably the newest person in the company with only 4 days into the job. The trip will allow me to meet some other members of the Phoenix team whereby I can befriend them and look to feed of their experiences within the car trade. This would be of massive help to me at the beginning of my career in Phoenix. I can be enlightened by the more senior members as to the inner workings of the company as well as gaining valuable contacts within the organisation.

Second I feel I would gain a massive amount of skills from the NADA events themselves, as I am new to the motor industry and to sales in general partaking in such events would allow me to develop as a Sales person. Though I am learning from very skilled individuals the Americans are the best in the world at customer care and Selling within the motor trade and the information and experience they will be dispensing will be second to none.

On returning from the excursion I would have no fear in reiterating the lessons learned to my workmates. My presenting skills are excellent and with this I can come back from the event and pass on the cutting edge information, with the same vigour as I received it, to other members of the team who were not as fortunate as I had been.

Lastly the timing of the trip will be invaluable as it comes right before I finish my training and begin car selling career. The trip to NADA would allow me to hone my skills and allow me to add a certain amount of polish to my sales pitch so that I can begin my journey on becoming the best sales person in Phoenix Stirling or even the whole company.
